PHP-Nuke Administration

1 Nuke Admin - Restricted Login
Most dynamic information (content) is maintained through the PHP-Nuke Administration function. This can be accessed by logging on to the http://yourwebsite.com/admin.php (there may be a link to this page on the main page).

For extra security, a double log in is required to access the admin page. The first, a restricted login, remains active until you close your browser. This may be a different user ID and password than the member user and the admin user.

2 Nuke Admin - Admin Login
The second, an admin login, is kept in a cookie file on your computer after successfully logging in and may be retained even after closing your browser. It may be different from the restricted user and the member user.

The use of the restricted login, also called HTTP admin authentication, has significantly reduced the number of successful hack attempts on dynamic websites.

3 Nuke Administration
After successfully logging in, the main PHP-Nuke Administration page is displayed.

Select the desired administration function, but be careful as these functions control the content and operation of the site.
